Retro Fandango Eps. 61 - The Last of the Schwarzeneggers (July 26, 2017)

July 26th, 2017

Yep, we gone and done it.  Schwarzenegger has been Commandoed.  No, no, that's not it.  He's been True Lied.  Nope.  Darn it, there's a joke here somewhere.  Anyway, after a healthy run the idea that was the Genisys of Retro Fandango is being Erased.  We took a lot of Red Heat from our loyal listeners on this one as they consider it a Raw Deal but you've got to trust us.  It's not the End of Days.  We're going to keep the movie talk Running, Man.  But, I'm getting ahead of myself.  We still have one Last Action Hero movie discussion for you all.  In this final 'Schwarzenneger' episode we are joined by our good friend @VintageVGGeek as we talk Total Recall (1990) and Demolition Man (1993).  That's two films, three seashells and Bob Picardo!  But wait, there's more!  Stick around till the end for information on the future of our movie talk as we announce the details for our brand new show!  "Nose to see you."

Retro Fandango Eps. 60 - Three Dicks and an Ass Feather (July 12, 2017)

July 12th, 2017

The title says it all, doesn't it?  No, it doesn't because there's always more beaneath the surface at Retro Fandango.  For starters, we're joined this time by special guest, THEE, that's right, TheSingleBanana.  He gives us the low down on RFGeneration.com, SheHateHorror,  something about lunchboxes and Krull.  Yeah, Krull.  Evey try watching that?  We also go through what we've been up to, Vox complete's his required viewing of Game of Thrones, Kevin still hates Nintendo and we highly reccomend that you download anything and everything you can get your hands on.  Oh, and be sure to bend over about half way thorugh because the RF Ass Feather is in full swing regarding the Schwarzenegger Evolution.  Tickle, tickle.

Retro Fandango Eps. 57 - Iron Men Vs Sparkling Vampires (May 17, 2017)

May 17th, 2017

We have selfishly wanted Kyle on as a solo guest to Fandangle all to ourselves since we had him on our busy Star Trek episode. Now that it has finally happened, I think we can say that all parties involved have left satisfied.  After a small false start and a mini rant on the NES classic/mini, we get the scoop on the contest Kyle is running for his podcast, GameTime Arcade. We talk about his favourite game of all time, his obsession with Iron Man, and his other obession with Spot, the 7Up mascot from the 90’s.  We also talk about The Lost Boys, war movies, ask what is good anime (if there is any), collecting movies, Wii waggle, Richard lays out a comeback for the Rampage series, we answer listener questions, and give the CC Debate show some constructive criticism.  Good times were had by all.

Retro Fandango Eps. 56 - Police Academy (May. 3rd, 2017)

May 3rd, 2017

Mahoney, Hightower, Jones, Tackleberry, Callahan, Hooks, and Captain Harris!  Or is it Ma ma Mouser?  We Fandangoed it up with Bill from STC and Sarah from Caught Me Gaming and chat about Police Academy 1 through 4.  The films may vary in quality, but our Fandangoing remains consistent throughout!  Someone even gets Michael Winslowed!  If you're a fan of the films or even just want a few laughs, you don't want to miss this one!

Retro Fandango Eps. 55 - Flockdango (Apr. 18, 2017)

April 18th, 2017

We had the most fun you could possibly have while Fandangling it up with Myles AND Kathyrn from the YouTube channel Flock of Nerds and the hit podcast Flock Talk!  Both were fantastic guests who opened up about their greasy “Magic the Gathering” past.  Ok, well maybe it wasn’t greasy... but it could have been!  We had some more CCHangout clips the reveal some of NJRetro’s hidden talents and we listen in on a “cheeky” Let’s Play from Lamour Lapin. (PewDiePie has nothing on Rose!) Richard RE-watches Joe Piscopo movies instead of giving Adam Sandler’s cinema masterpiece The Wedding Singer a try, reveals why he has been so busy lately, and barely stays awake for the whole show. Too bad we didn’t get any Sauce-ish snores out of him.  My viewing of Rogue One leads to a discussion about blockbuster movie making today, and listener questions has Kathyrn and I geeking out about some classic Commodore 64 audio! No matter how many times we were told to pull down our pants during this episode, we kept them on... But just barely!

Retro Fandango Eps. 54 - That Wonderful Cokehead (Mar. 27, 2017)

March 28th, 2017

Vox and Mars take on Eps 54 completely naked! That's right!  With no guest or soundboard we only have our junk to show you! Yep. Old Laserdiscs about cokeheads, DVD sets of shows from a bigone era, and a Mega Drive saved from the trash. We also cover Musty Hobbit’s Compilation of the Cartridge Club’s Top 25 Sega Games, the Barrie Game Exchange, read listener forum comments, and answer your questions. And, best of all, there maybe a bet brewin' between Richard and Curtiss that will make everyone who hasn't forgot about the #1Console Challenge forget about the #1Console Challenge.  Put on your rubber boots kids, because this is the most raw of Retro Fandango ever! #MHCCCT25SG

Retro Fandango Eps. 53 - A Very Special Beat ‘em Up Special (Mar. 6, 2017)

March 7th, 2017

Joe Goes Retro was a guest we have been wanting to get on The Fandango for a long time and now we can rest easy becasue it has finally happened! Big thanks to Joe for hanging with us to talk, among other things Beat 'em Ups.  Or brawlers.  I'm okay with the term brawlers.  We also talk to Joe about his channel and how much it has grown over the past few years, Breath of the Wild, read some of your forum comments, examine Captain Planet's racist intro, Richard updates us on his Laser Disc watching, and I have become a scumbag reseller.  All this and more on this episode of Retro Fandango!
